SUMMER PROGRAM

During summer break, Kids Community offers a 10 week summer camp that begins in mid-June and ends in mid-August. We are known to be one of the funnest and most affordable Summer Camps in Portland, OR.

Daily activities include, Art Projects, Science Exploration, Music, Theater, Group Games, Enrichment Clubs, Swimming, Field Trips, and Free Choice Play.

OUR  PROGRAMS

Kinders
The KCLC Kinders Program is offered to children who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Kinders enjoy the same activities, field trips and clubs as the 1st-5th grade, while spending a portion of their day as a smaller group for activities
and rest time.

Grades 1-5
This program offers mixed age programming for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 4th grade. Morning sessions are spent in smaller groups, and all other activities, field trips, and free choice is spent as a large group.

Grades 6-8
For students ages 11-13, the 6th-8th graders follow the same weekly themes as the other programs. This program offers more advanced explorations into the kinds of skills and leadership opportunities that students at this age are capable of.  Programming will provide structure while also allowing campers to follow their interests.
