Camp Guide 2017

Summer Camp 2017 Registration Form

During summer break, Kids Community offers summer programming that begins in mid-June and ends in mid-August. We are known to be one of the funnest and most affordable Summer Camps in Portland, OR.

Daily activities include, Art Projects, Science Exploration, Music, Theater, Group Games, Enrichment Clubs, Swimming, Field Trips, and Free Choice Play.

The KCLC Kinders Program is offered to children who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Kinders enjoy the same activities, and field trips as the 1st-6th grade, while spending a portion of their day as a smaller group for activities
and rest time.

Grades 1st-4th
This program offers mixed age programming for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Morning sessions are spent in smaller groups, and all other activities, field trips, and free choice is spent as a large group.

Grades 5th-6th
Our older students follow the same weekly themes as the other programs. This program offers more advanced explorations into the kinds of skills and leadership opportunities that students at this age are capable of.  Programming will provide structure while also allowing campers to follow their interests.

Music Program
Our year round music programs continue during the summer months.  Parents can sign their kids up for private lessons and group classes taught by our amazing team of music educators.  Private lessons can be scheduled in piano, guitar, voice, drums, ukulele and bass guitar.

Youth Volunteers
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for kids in grades 7th-12th.  Programs are based on age, experience and availability.  Positions are limited, however, so if you are interested in working with kids and think this could be a fit for you, please contact us before May 1st.
